Rules to follow for proper use of Crosby shackles

  Crosby shackles are used to secure machines during towing, lifting and suspension applications, forged and tempered with alloy pins to do so.  There are some important rules to follow to ensure proper and efficient use of Crosby shackles, as listed below: Upon selection of the suitable shackle, it is essential to refer to the Crosby manufacturer guide to keep track of working loads on the shackles, thereby using the right one for the task. The rated capacity can be found imprinted on the shackle.
