  1. Thimble Wire Rope Sling

To add to wire rope sling strength all while reducing the stress on a small area of the eye – a thimble, a U-shaped piece onto which the wire rope fits is placed in the eye that helps the sling retain its natural shape. The thimble is designed to prevent the load or hook from encountering the wire rope.
